Tenova Advanced Technologies, is an international company offering comprehensive
solutions for the mineral processing, fertilizers and industrial phosphate industries The
company R&D center at Katzrin develop separation processes for the chemical industry,
mainly solvent extraction, reaction and membranes separation.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Perform laboratory analysis in R&D center, for metal extraction chemical processes
development.
- Responsible for accurate work in accordance with company procedures, instructions
and requirements of standard ISO 9001.
- Operate and maintain advanced laboratory equipment, for example ICP-OES, GC,
AA, TOC, VIS Spectrometer.
- Troubleshooting of analytical methods and instruments where necessary in
accordance with SOP’s and instructions.
- Provide assistance in R&D test preparation, execution and analysis, issues
investigation and quality control.
- Assist in development and validation of new analytical methods and updates.
- Record data, prepare reports and interpret results together with laboratory team.
- Prepare instructions and protocols for approval.
- Work in laboratory environment safely according to the company safety instructions.
- Use appropriate personal safety equipment for handling chemicals when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering. MSc an advantage
- English - high proficiency level.
- At least 3 years of industry-relevant experience in analytical laboratory with one of
instruments: ICP, GC, HPLC, AAS, Spectrophotometer, Titrators.
- QA/QC course or experience - advantage.
- Experience in development and validation of analytical methods - advantage.
2.0 COMPETENCIES
- Capable of independent experiment execution, data collection and analysis
according to instructions.
- A professional, pro-active approach and an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Have strong ability to critically review analytical data, excellent attention to detail is a
must.
- Takes initiative and well organized.
- Willingness to work night shifts when needed
